Job summary

WorleyParsons Arabia Limited Co. seeks an experienced Senior Lead Static Equipment Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee FEED, EPC and detailed engineering activities. You will guide design, procurement, vendor doc reviews and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate across disciplines, review vendor drawings, and support constructability and cost optimization throughout the project lifecycle. Extensive GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in FEED & EPC phases is required.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API 650 620 661 660, TEMA and NACE requirements.
• Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management and fabrication oversight for static equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC and detailed engineering phases of the project.
• Provide technical leadership for design specification and procurement of static equipment, including pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors and package equipment.
• Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and vendor documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA and ASTM.
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines to ensure effective integration of static equipment requirements.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures and inspection requirements.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops and technical meetings with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and supervision to a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
• Interface effectively with clients, licensors, suppliers and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five years preferred in the GCC region.
• At least five years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects managing a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
• ADNOC & Offshore project experience is preferred; PMC experience is preferable.
• Experience in FEED & EPC phases is required.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API 650 620 661 660, TEMA and NACE requirements.
• Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management and fabrication oversight for static equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments.
