Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced maintenance and commissioning professional for 400/132kV transmission substation equipment. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, condition monitoring, and testing of GIS, transformers, shunt reactors and auxiliaries.

Proficiency in SF6 and oil filtration machinery, along with reading electrical drawings, energization/de-energization, and strict permit-to-work compliance, is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma with min. 5 yrs of experience.
• Proficient in technical English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, condition monitoring and testing of 400/132kV transmission substation equipment (Gas Insulated Switchgears, Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors and auxiliaries).
• Operation of SF6 gas handling machines and oil filtration equipment.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings with hands-on energization/de-energization procedures and strict permit-to-work compliance.
• Respond to technical complaints, analyze alarms, determine root cause and troubleshoot effectively.

Job description

Hands on experience on maintenance, condition monitoring and testing of 400/132kV transmission substation equipment such as Gas Insulated Switchgears, Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors and associated auxiliaries.

Experience in operation of SF6 gas handling machines/Oil filtration machines. Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings with hands‑on experience in circuit energization and de‑energization procedures, including compliance with permit‑to‑work protocols.

Demonstrated ability to attend to technical complaints, analyze alarm signals, determine cause, and troubleshoot effectively.

Proficient in technical English communication, both spoken and written.
