Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in 400/132kV transmission substations. The role requires responding to alarms, conducting investigations, and supporting root cause analysis of faults. Strong command of technical English is essential.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in electrical engineering (min 6 years) or a diploma (min 7 years) with relevant field experience. UAE-based, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, testing and maintenance of 400/132kV transmission substation equipment.
• Hands-on with circuit breakers, disconnectors, earth switches, control schemes, interlocks and alarms.
• Respond to real-time alarms, conduct independent investigations and support root cause analysis of faults.
• Knowledge of safe working procedures in live substation is a must.
• Proficient in technical English communication, spoken and written.

Job description

Experience in Installation, testing and maintenance of 400/132kV transmission substation equipment such as Gas Insulated Switchgears, Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors and associated auxiliaries.

Possesses hands‑on experience with different mechanisms for circuit breaker/ Disconnectors/ earth switches, control schemes, interlocks, and alarms, along with their effective troubleshooting.

Capable of responding to real‑time alarms and technical complaints, conduct independent investigations, and support the root causes analysis of equipment faults.

Knowledge of safe working procedures in live substation is a must.

Proficient in technical English communication, both spoken and written.
