Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to oversee maintenance, testing and condition monitoring of 400/132kV substations including GIS, transformers and shunt reactors.

You will interpret test results, report abnormalities, and independently troubleshoot in live substations while complying with permit procedures and safety standards. Excellent technical English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment and testing.

Job description

Hands on experience on maintenance, condition monitoring and testing of 400/132kV transmission substation equipment such as Gas Insulated Switchgears, Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors and associated auxiliaries.

Able to interpret test results, identify abnormality and report. Thorough knowledge in electrical power transmission and various aspects of GIS/Transformers circuits energization/de-energization, permit procedures, working in live substations with ability to attend complaints, perform investigation and troubleshooting independently.

Proficient in technical English communication, both spoken and written.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering with min. 6 yrs experience
