Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in United Arab Emirates is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) to supervise the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of AIS/GIS substations at 132 kV and above. You will ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, HSE requirements, and schedule commitments.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8–15 years of experience in substation projects, with exposure to 132 kV+, AIS/GIS, testing and commissioning, and
Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in substation projects.
- Significant exposure to 132 kV and above substations.
- Experience in AIS/GIS substations, testing & commissioning, and construction supervision.
Responsibilities
- Supervise AIS/GIS substations construction and installation for 132 kV and above.
- Monitor erection of transformers, switchgear, CTs, VTs, and protection panels.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and review test reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues at site.
