Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee planning and site activities for complex substations and HV/EHV cable projects. You will develop and maintain project records, monitor progress, and ensure quality through formal procedures.

The role requires extensive construction supervision experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of UAE codes, safety standards, and applicable regulations. ADNOC/TRANSCO familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, construction or industrial buildings.
• Minimum 12-15 years of Construction experience in 132kV, 400kV substations and HV/EHV cable laying projects.
• Experienced in ADNOC and TRANSCO projects.
• Experienced as construction supervision Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Co-ordination and knowledge of Permits/NOCs involved in execution of Site activities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, AutoCAD and other software.
• Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
