Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer - Civil to supervise construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132 kV and higher substations. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and HSE while coordinating with contractors and clients to deliver projects on schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years in substation projects with 132 kV+ exposure, including AIS/GIS substations and testing/commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
15+ years of experience in substation projects, with significant exposure to 132 kV and above substations.

Responsibilities

Supervise construction and installation activities for AIS/GIS substations (132 kV and above).
Witness testing and commissioning activities and review test reports.
Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
Identify and resolve technical and construction issues at site.
