Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a Resident Engineer to lead planning, site supervision and QC for HV/substation projects. You will manage multiple sites, maintain engineering records, and ensure compliance with ADNOC/TRANSCO specs and UAE regulations.
The role requires 10-15 years of relevant experience, a civil/structural engineering degree, and strong skills in AutoCAD GIS and MS Office. You will coordinate permits, oversee shop drawings, and drive safety and efficiency on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- 10–15 years of construction experience in 132kV 400kV substations and HV/EHV cable laying projects.
- Experience on ADNOC and TRANSCO projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee site activities and ensure conformance with design specs.
- Maintain project engineering records and weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate permits and NOCs for site execution.
- Inspect sites and review shop drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and UAE regulations.
- Mentor project personnel and manage resources.
