Stantec is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and support on a Construction Site and Supervision project in RAK, UAE.
Key Tasks and Duties
Monitoring the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
Reviewing, approving and processing all structural technical submittals.
Answering RFIs related to Structure and Architecture.
Assist in supervising the work of all structural activities and operations, maintaining progress records and reporting.
Reviewing contractors structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Structural PM.
Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
Reviewing contractors claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims.
Reviewing the contractors project record documents relevant to their discipline.
Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the structural works.
Signing off on completed structural works with completed documentation and maintaining the required record.
Perform all other duties given by Senior Structural Engineer
