Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman to prepare structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings from engineer-approved designs, working closely with structural engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.

You will develop plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings, coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape drawings, and verify drawings against site changes and

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline — or equivalent relevant experience.
2–5 years of structural drafting and detailing experience, including construction or shop drawing production.
Strong AutoCAD skills, sound knowledge of structural elements and reinforcement detailing, and the ability to interpret engineer-approved structural drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and other elements.
Develop plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings; coordinate interfaces with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape drawings.
Incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, and site changes; check dimensions, levels, annotations, and drawing revisions before submission.
Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and capture verified as-built information.
