Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to support the design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for infrastructure projects. You will ensure drawings are accurate, compliant with project specifications, and align with industry standards.

The role involves preparing detailed MEP shop drawings, coordinating with architectural, structural, and civil teams, and updating drawings based on design changes and site

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related drafting field.
• Solid experience in MEP drafting for infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); Revit MEP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and infrastructure design standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within tight project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, and schematics based on engineering designs.
• Translate engineering concepts and calculations into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing records and documentation in line with project standards.
• Support site teams with as-built drawings and technical clarifications.
