Job summary

CNS Engineering Service in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to create detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. You will work with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE codes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or diploma in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural drafting
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understanding of building codes and standards, with local knowledge for Dubai/UAE
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods
• AutoCAD certification is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

• Review and update existing drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain organized digital and physical files of all project-related drawings and documents
• Assist in preparing material lists and quantity takeoffs for cost estimation purposes
• Stay updated on local building regulations and industry standards in Dubai and the UAE
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
