Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a technically skilled Structural Designer to support safe and practical structural designs for building and engineering projects in Dubai. You will prepare structural drawings, develop details, and support calculations, ensuring documentation meets project requirements and standards.

The role requires strong CAD/BIM proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla), attention to detail, and effective coordination with architects, engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Structural Design, or related.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, construction methods, materials, and documentation.
• Ability to interpret structural calculations, engineering specs, design requirements, and drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures or other drafting software.
• Familiarity with structural codes, standards, and drafting conventions.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with focus on drawing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural plans, elevations, sections, details, reinforcement drawings, and construction documents.
• Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and steel structures.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and fabricators.
• Review design changes, update drawings, and resolve drafting issues.
• Assist with design calculations, material specifications, and quantity information.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure revisions are documented.
