Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Structural Lead / Building Inspector to oversee structural design, inspections, compliance and safety across diverse projects. You will lead inspections, review drawings and calculations, identify defects, and coordinate with architects, engineers, authorities and contractors.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering background, strong knowledge of codes and safety standards, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's level technical degree in civil/structural disciplines.
Experience in structural inspections, assessments or senior design roles.
Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead structural inspections, assessments, design reviews and evaluations.
Review drawings, calculations, specifications and construction work for compliance and quality.
Identify structural defects, safety issues, risks and remedial needs.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, authorities and project teams.
Prepare inspection reports, technical assessments, recommendations and compliance docs.
Monitor construction quality, structural integrity and adherence to approved designs.
Provide technical guidance on repairs, strengthening and building performance.
