Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to prepare and revise shop drawings, coordinating between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. You will produce accurate as-built drawings and review IFC docs to ensure compliance with standards and local regulations.

The role requires 7+ years in construction, strong AutoCAD skills, and UAE experience, with a focus on coordinating with site teams and consultants to resolve drawing issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture or drafting.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong experience in building/construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise architectural shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Develop coordination drawings by integrating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Produce accurate as-built drawings based on site modifications and completed works.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and project documents prior to drafting.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and developer requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of drawing revisions and approvals.
• Support project teams with technical drafting and design coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
