Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a skilled Designer for Design & Drafting and sheet metal fabrication projects. You will prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings, and develop CNC cutting programs based on precise design specs.

Collaborating with engineers and production teams, you will ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements while managing multiple projects and updating documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings for sheet metal components.
• Develop cutting programs for CNC machines based on design specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Review project specifications and adjust designs as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough checks of drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting design and fabrication issues during production.
• Maintain accurate records of all designs and modifications; update project documentation as necessary.
• Work closely with production to ensure seamless integration of designs into manufacturing.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide design solutions.
