Job summary

Wood is seeking a Workforce Planning Lead in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time, office-based role partners with business leaders to ensure capacity aligns with current and future demand through forecasting, utilisation management and proactive resource planning.

The role provides workforce intelligence, supports project delivery, and drives adoption of planning tools and best practices across multiple portfolios, regions or business units.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, resource management or operational planning within a complex organisation.
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement programs.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
• Ability to drive data-driven decisions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning activities across portfolios, disciplines or regions.
• Develop short, medium and long-term forecasts aligned to business demand.
• Maintain capacity plans, identify gaps and deployment opportunities.
• Monitor utilisation and advise on productivity improvements.
• Produce weekly/monthly workforce reports and present insights to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with delivery leaders and talent acquisition to influence planning.
• Drive governance, data quality and continuous improvement in planning processes.
