Job summary

Al Masaood Group in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an Upstream Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development of technical products in the upstream oil & gas sector. You will build relationships with ADNOC, operators, and EPC contractors to identify opportunities and convert them into orders.

Applicants should have 5–10+ years in upstream sales, strong UAE experience, and a technical engineering background. Knowledge of production chemicals and process equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of sales/business development experience in upstream oil & gas.
• Strong UAE experience, preferably Abu Dhabi.
• Existing relationships with ADNOC, ADNOC Group companies, oilfield service companies and major upstream contractors.
• Experience selling oilfield/production chemicals, production solutions, process equipment or other technical products would be advantageous.
• Technical degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or related Engineering.
• Strong technical sales, negotiation and commercial skills.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with ADNOC and other upstream oil & gas operators, oilfield service companies and EPC contractors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across upstream oil & gas projects and production facilities.
• Promote and sell technical products, equipment, chemicals or solutions relevant to upstream operations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Follow opportunities from initial enquiry through technical clarification, negotiation, purchase order and delivery.
• Coordinate with principals, suppliers, engineering and internal sales teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming upstream projects.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Participate in tenders and vendor registration/prequalification processes where required.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and opportunity reports.
