Job summary

PeopleStrong in the United Arab Emirates seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing for Equipment, Spares, tools and service contracts, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.

The role covers RFQ generation, vendor evaluation, price and term negotiations, SAP purchase orders, and strict adherence to EHS and quality standards; you will coordinate deliveries, payments, and contractor mobilization to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement for equipment, spares, tools and service contracts.
• Ability to generate RFQs, evaluate bids and release purchase orders in SAP.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation and supplier development skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement procurement activities: RFQs, negotiation, PO release and vendor selection.
• Ensure timely delivery and payments per PO; manage LC drafts for imports if needed.
• Develop vendor relations and conduct supplier evaluations per SAP norms.
• Lead World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities in the assigned area; support QA targets.
• Ensure all EHS requirements are met and related documents are submitted by contractors.
