Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of the procurement process.
• Ability to communicate commercial solutions to procurement and non-procurement personnel.
• Support integrated procurement worldwide with suppliers.
• Understand local and regional logistics regulations and agreements.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience with Smart Plant Materials and HR systems; Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials for MDR projects in line with policies and budgets.
• Interact with PMT, Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Safety, Accounting, and Warehouse.
• Interface with vendors; conduct RFQs and bid evaluations.
• Establish procurement strategies for project materials and monitor supplier performance.
• Visit vendors to assess capabilities and market trends; maintain vendor base.
• Register suppliers, manage RFQ processes, and ensure compliant offers.
• Place POs, administer orders, and maintain procurement records and audit trails.
• Assist expediting and resolve commercial clarifications with vendors.
• Monitor price trends, delivery lead times, and manufacturing capacity.
• Support bid pricing and coordinate with Bids & Proposals in Procurement.
• Share lessons learned with peers and supervisor; lead assigned personnel.
