Job summary

McDermott in Dubai seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist to enhance procurement discipline across projects. You will lead procurement strategy, manage contracts, and act as a key interface with clients and vendors to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.

You will develop project procurement execution plans, maintain auditable files, monitor costs, and provide timely status reporting while guiding junior staff and collaborating with PMT and Legal as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional procurement qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the supply chain function within the PMT.
• Lead procurement strategy and manage contract flow-down.
• Develop a Project Procurement execution plan.
• Interface with client and vendors to meet milestones.
• Ensure auditable procurement files and cost control.
• Resolve disputes and support PMT and Legal as needed.
• Provide status reporting and lessons learned.
