Job summary

DU is seeking an experienced procurement leader to develop category sourcing strategies, drive RFP/RFQ negotiations, and ensure value for money across outsourced services and corporate procurement. The role requires strong contract knowledge, ERP experience with Oracle, and fluent English (Arabic preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Law, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• Procurement & sourcing experience 5-7 years; telecommunications is a plus.
• Knowledge of supplier contracts, terms & conditions, and contract laws.
• Familiarity with procurement systems, processes and procedures.
• ERP experience, especially Oracle; fluent in English, Arabic preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management with ability to handle multiple large projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop category sourcing strategy and ensure adherence across departments.
• Lead tender RFP/RFQ negotiations to secure best value and on-budget delivery.
• Track RFPs/RFQs against timelines and optimize sourcing activities.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure timely resolution of commercial matters.
• Report savings, KPIs, and ERP data; validate monthly targets.
• Engage IT, Network, Finance, Legal, and Service Ops teams to align objectives.
• Provide ongoing education on procurement policy amendments to internal customers.
