EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Procurement Associate to support sourcing, quotation management, and purchase order processing for fast‑moving operations. You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or material planning.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Support supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding invoices and payment‑related issues.
• Work closely with end users to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and support replenishment activities when required.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements.
• Support cost‑saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare procurement reports and purchasing metrics.
