Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Manager Materials Management to lead procurement and material management to ensure timely, cost-efficient acquisitions supporting operations. You will oversee supplier selection, contract negotiations, inventory planning, and performance monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement/material management with at least 3 years in leadership, strong SAP and MS Office skills, and a focus on regulatory compliance and continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CPSM/CPP/CPIM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and material management activities to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality and delivery.
• Oversee material planning, inventory control, and demand forecasting to maintain stock levels.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and performance monitoring.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with operations.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and KPIs to meet objectives.
• Prepare procurement and material management reports including supplier performance and cost savings.
