Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Procurement Associate to support sourcing, quotation management, and purchase order processing for fast‑moving operations. You will work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or material planning.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.

• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding invoices and payment‑related issues.
• Work closely with end users to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and support replenishment activities when required.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements.
• Support cost‑saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare procurement reports and purchasing metrics.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In EPI as a Procurement Associate you will be responsible for supporting the procurement function by sourcing goods and services, obtaining quotations, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and cost objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of procurement contracts and commercial terms.
• Familiarity with supplier performance management and vendor evaluation.
• Experience with strategic sourcing and RFQ/RFP processes.
• Understanding of inventory control and material planning.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and logistics processes.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP procurement modules.
