Job summary

Linde Gas Middle East LLC is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to lead the pricing strategy for the Middle East cluster, including Abu Dhabi and neighboring markets. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, margin optimization and commercial excellence across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in pricing or related commercial roles, with a track record of implementing pricing strategies and managing cross-country pricing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, sales, marketing or related roles.
• Proven experience developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive growth and profitability.
• Experience managing pricing processes across multiple products, segments or geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy development and execution for the Middle East cluster to drive profitable growth and margin optimization.
• Analyze market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify pricing opportunities.
• Establish and govern pricing frameworks, policies, and tools for consistency and transparency across countries and business segments.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to improve pricing performance and value capture.
• Drive pricing transformation projects, process improvements and capability-building initiatives.
• Deliver actionable insights through pricing analytics, profitability assessments and performance reporting.
• Engage stakeholders at country, cluster, regional and global levels to embed a value-focused pricing culture.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

Lead strategically the pricing function in the Cluster Middle East focusing on:

• The development and execution of the Cluster’s pricing strategy to drive profitable growth, margin optimization, and commercial excellence across the Middle East.
• Analyze market dynamics, customer behavior, competitor activities, and commercial trends to identify pricing opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Establish and govern pricing frameworks, policies, and tools to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment across countries and business segments.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to improve pricing performance, enhance value capture, and support business growth initiatives.
• Drive pricing transformation projects, process improvements, and capability-building initiatives to strengthen commercial effectiveness across the organization.

What Makes You Great

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline
• 5-10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, sales, marketing or related commercial roles
• Proven experience in developing & implementing pricing strategies that support growth and profitability
• Experience managing pricing processes across multiple products, customer segments or geographic markets
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights
• Experience working in cross-functional and international business environments
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, B2B or other industries with complex pricing structures is preferred
• Experience within the Middle East region and/or the industrial gases industry is considered an advantage
