Job summary

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library is seeking an experienced Project Manager to contribute to the development of methodologies, governance frameworks, and templates, while maintaining the central project register aligned with strategic objectives.

The role involves reviewing plans, monitoring progress and risks, producing dashboards for decision-making, and coordinating follow-up meetings. A PMP/PRINCE2 certification and 6–11 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field is required.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and update of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, guidelines, and templates.
• Maintain central project register and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Review project plans and documentation for scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, performance indicators, and risks.
• Monitor project implementation, delays, risks, challenges, change requests, and corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on project status to support decision-making.
• Coordinate follow-up meetings with project managers and teams and monitor decisions and actions.
• Provide project management support and promote best practices, lessons learned, and institutional maturity.
• Monitor project closure and ensure completion of deliverables and measurement of results.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
