Job summary

BNW Mortgages is seeking a Mortgage Advisor to assess clients' financial situations and tailor mortgage products accordingly. You will guide clients through the application process, gather required documents, and coordinate with lenders and real estate agents to close loans.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in finance or related field, 2–3 years in mortgage advising, and a professional mortgage certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in mortgage advising or related financial services.
Mortgage Advisor certification or equivalent credentials essential.
Prior fast-paced sales experience advantageous for client acquisition.
Familiarity with mortgage software and financial analysis tools to streamline assessments.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products.
Stay updated on market trends, interest rates and regulatory changes to provide informed advice.
Guide clients through the mortgage application process, collecting and submitting documents.
Build and maintain relationships with lenders and real estate agents to facilitate transactions.
Educate clients on mortgage options including fixed, adjustable, and government-backed loans.
Perform detailed credit analysis to help clients understand and improve their creditworthiness.
