Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) in Dubai is seeking a Transport Operations Supervisor to arrange and supervise dispatches and deputize the Transport Senior Supervisor in their absence. The role focuses on delivering products on time while maintaining loading quality and vehicle readiness.

You will plan daily resource use, route outgoing trucks, coordinate with customer teams, ensure stock accuracy, and enforce QA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any relevant discipline or high school graduate with equivalent experience.
• 3 years supervisory experience in fleet management.
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance elements and implementation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Resource planning and utilization: Plan daily use of resources, manage floor and delivery operations to maximise productivity.
• Outgoing and delivery trucks routing & scheduling: Plan daily outbound truck loading to maximise staff productivity.
• Plan and schedule routing to meet delivery lead-time targets and maximize fleet utilisation.
• Communicate with TM CBD team and customer receiving staff to streamline delivery issues.
• Stock accuracy: ensure goods loaded/received match orders and conduct weekly inventory counts.
• Delivery returns: verify quantities/quality of goods returned to avoid disputes.
• Collection of payment / invoice delivery confirmation: ensure cheques and cash collection at delivery.
• Ensure invoices are returned to warehouse the same day with customer signature.
• Delivery quality and SOPs: ensure loading/unloading quality and pattern safety.
• Vehicle inspection: ensure trailers/trucks are in good condition to comply with QA standards.
• Staff training: ensure delivery staff are trained and performance reviewed regularly.
