Job summary

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas is seeking a passionate Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function and align it with the hotel’s strategic plan. The role focuses on recruitment, compensation and benefits, health & safety, and performance management to support exceptional service delivery.

The position requires a university degree or HR designation with at least three years in a similar role, English fluency, and Gulf experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related discipline or professional HR designation.
• Minimum of three years' experience in the same role.
• Computer literate; proficiency in a computerized payroll system.
• Fluent in English; Gulf experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct all facets of Human Resources including recruitment, coaching, compensation & benefits, health & safety, performance management & succession planning.
• Ensure recruitment of high-caliber employees within budgeted staffing plans.
• Provide functional direction and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Provide a sounding board for colleague concerns, mediating solutions and initiating changes as needed.
• Provide direction, coaching and counseling on HR issues such as performance management and employee relations.
• Maintain high level of colleague satisfaction and team spirit through active support and participation with hotel core committees.
• Maintain effective communication throughout the hotel.
• Establish and implement annual objectives, budget and programs for HR in line with the hotel's strategy.
• Foster a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and colleague morale.
