Job summary

Salt is seeking an accomplished senior leader for a transformative role in its technology and innovation space in the UAE. The position requires steering strategy, accelerating growth, and building high-value partnerships to drive the company into its next phase.

The successful candidate will own growth initiatives, guide governance, and lead a high-performing team across the UAE and GCC, leveraging deep market insight and an entrepreneurial, execution-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across technology, innovation, investment, strategy, business development, or high-growth organisations.
• Proven track record of building, scaling, or transforming businesses and converting strategic opportunities into measurable commercial results.
• Strong commercial and financial judgement with experience across revenue growth, strategic partnerships, investment, fundraising, or business expansion.
• Deep understanding of the UAE and GCC business environment with the executive presence to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial and execution-focused in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline; MBA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation’s growth strategy, identifying new markets, commercial opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives capable of delivering sustainable long-term value.
• Take ownership of overall business performance, translating strategic priorities into clear commercial, financial, and operational objectives.
• Build influential relationships with investors, corporate leaders, government stakeholders, strategic partners, and other key decision-makers across the UAE and wider GCC.
• Lead major business development opportunities, negotiations, strategic alliances, and market expansion initiatives while strengthening the organisation’s regional presence.
• Establish strong governance and operating discipline across financial performance, resource allocation, organisational priorities, and executive decision-making.
• Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing leadership team while creating a culture centred around entrepreneurship, accountability, innovation, and execution.
