Job summary

Salt seeks a Cyber Security Business Unit Head to lead strategy, delivery, and growth across sectors, serving as a trusted advisor to executives.

This senior leader will drive P&L, shape offerings in GRC, SOC, Cloud Security, IAM, and Emerging Technologies, and build multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative security solutions.

The role requires deep cybersecurity expertise, commercial acumen, and strong client relationships to propel the business forward.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in cybersecurity with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record of P&L management and driving growth.
• Broad expertise across strategy, GRC, SOC operations, cloud, IAM, and architecture.
• Strong network in the cybersecurity market (consultancies, MSSPs, or enterprise).
• Exceptional leadership and people management with experience scaling multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management at the C-level.
• Commercial acumen translating security into business value.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the business unit strategy in alignment with goals, market trends, and customer needs.
• Drive P&L ownership, revenue targets, and profitability through new business and partnerships.
• Build and scale offerings across GRC, SOC, Cloud Security, IAM, and Emerging Technologies.
• Serve as an executive advisor to clients, strengthening long-term relationships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity teams to foster innovation and excellence.
• Ensure delivery quality, compliance, and operational efficiency across projects.
• Represent the organization at industry events and strengthen brand visibility.
• Stay ahead of threats, regulatory requirements, and technology trends.
