Job summary

Mastercard Abu Dhabi is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Strategy to shape and drive the strategic agenda across Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa. You will partner with business units, finance and regional teams to identify opportunities and translate strategy into action.

The role leads end-to-end workstreams from problem definition through to execution, delivering insights and executive-ready recommendations to senior leadership across 81 markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading academic institution; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy roles.
• Proven ability to deliver high-impact strategic projects and drive tangible business results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience crafting concise, logical narratives for senior audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, inclusive approach to teamwork.
• Self-starter who demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of EEMEA’s strategic framework in alignment with Mastercard’s global priorities.
• Lead strategic projects and workstreams focused on growth acceleration, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Structure complex, ambiguous challenges into clear hypotheses, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Develop compelling, executive-ready materials that clearly communicate findings and influence decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Services, Market Development, Finance) and regional business units to translate strategy into execution.
• Build trusted relationships across EEMEA functions and markets to drive alignment and collaboration.
• Contribute to a high-performing team culture that emphasizes strategic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
