Job summary

Svitzer in Dubai is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support financial modeling, tender processes, and business development across AMEA regions. You will prepare proposals, analyze profitability, and help shape strategic commercial decisions.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in corporate finance or consulting, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in English. The role offers exposure to international projects and collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• High level of skill with financial modelling, risk analysis, and multiple valuation methodologies.
• 1–3 years working experience in corporate finance, business development, tender management and/or consulting.
• Must be a natural collaborator with ability to build strong business relationships.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models for new contracts and extensions, tender document production, and support proposals and quotes.
• Perform financial analysis and feasibility studies; present findings to regional management on viability of projects.
• Support market intelligence and project data collection including pipeline, competitors, and client overviews.
• Provide analytics for targeted markets and opportunities; support relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with other functions to evaluate business opportunities from commercial, financial, and strategic perspectives.
• Assist in preparing compelling business cases, memos, and presentations for management decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
