Job summary

Tanqeeb, a diversified Oil & Gas group in the UAE, seeks a senior Finance leader to partner with senior management, strengthen governance and drive ERP-enabled finance transformation. The role covers FP&A, reporting, control, and commercial decision support across multiple entities and regions.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario analyses, deliver timely financial insights, and drive automation and data-driven decision making to improve profitability and cash

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance experience with 7+ years post-qualification.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy services or related industrials.
• CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA essential.
• Strong background in controlling, FP&A, reporting, and business partnering.
• Experience managing finance across multiple entities/business units.
• Experience in ERP implementation and finance transformation.
• Knowledge of IFRS, working capital, cash flow and governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior leadership.
• Provide financial insight and challenge on commercial decisions, bids, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, returns, resource use and performance.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, and financial modelling.
• Develop scenario analyses and monitor performance across entities.
• Own monthly/quarterly reporting and provide management commentary.
• Drive automation, data quality and real-time visibility in reporting.
• Coordinate audits, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Drive working-capital optimization, cash generation and cost discipline.
• Evaluate CAPEX, investments and business cases with financial modelling.
• Lead ERP finance transformation and digitalization initiatives.
