Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced finance professional to lead financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, planning and compliance. You will drive the month-end close, ensure IFRS compliance, and provide management with insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in finance, and a track record of delivering accurate financial statements and robust internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, budgeting, financial reporting and controls.
• Proven experience managing financial reporting and month-end/year-end processes.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to advise senior management with commercially focused financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements preparation.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and records.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Maintain financial controls and policies across the business.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide variance analysis and performance insights.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
