Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks a Senior Cost Controller to lead cost control strategies across projects. You will monitor budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting, ensuring alignment with forecasts and contract terms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cost control, CPA/CMA/PMP are advantageous, and a proven track record in delivering accurate financial analysis for complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or PMP is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in cost control, preferably within the [Specify Industry, e.g., Construction, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing] sector.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective cost management systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust cost control strategies and policies to safeguard project and organizational financial health
• Oversee the meticulous tracking analysis and reporting of all project costs ensuring alignment with budget and forecast
• Lead the forecasting process providing accurate projections of future expenditures and identifying potential cost deviations early
• Manage the change order process evaluating cost impacts and ensuring proper authorization and documentation
