Job summary

ALEC Holdings is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost controls and profitability analysis across manufacturing sites and corporate operations in the UAE. You will develop cost models, review BOMs and overhead allocations, and provide data-driven insights to drive margins and strategic pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and a professional qualification such as CIMA, CMA or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, absorption costing and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review standard and actual costing for manufactured products.
• Maintain and validate BOMs, routings, labour rates and manufacturing overhead rates.
• Analyse material, labour and overhead costs and identify key cost drivers.
• Perform detailed production cost and variance analysis including material, labour, overhead, and scrap variances.
• Review product and project profitability and highlight margin risks to management.
• Support pricing decisions through accurate cost information and margin analysis.
