Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience supporting cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects.
• Strong proficiency with cost estimating software, take-off software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, bid analysis, and contract negotiation.
• In country (UAE) experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and present comprehensive project cost estimates with value engineering recommendations.
• Manage vendor prequalification and bid process, analyze bids, conduct bid interviews, and advise clients.
• Establish and maintain cost reporting schedules, prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts, and lead regular reviews with teams and vendors.
• Monitor and control project costs by reviewing payment applications, evaluating change orders, and maintaining risk registers.
• Utilize cost estimating and take-off software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
