Job summary

Turner & Townsend International Limited in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Manager to lead project cost management across construction and development initiatives.

You will own cost estimates, monitor budgets, manage vendor prequalification and bids, perform value engineering, and report forecasts to ensure financial accuracy and strategic value.

The role requires UAE experience, strong communication, and proficiency with cost estimating tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience supporting cost management on medium to large-sized construction projects.
• Strong proficiency with cost estimating software, take-off software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and present comprehensive project cost estimates including construction costs, fees and ancillary expenses.
• Lead vendor prequalification and bid processes: assess proposals, analyze bids, conduct bid interviews and make strategic recommendations.
• Establish and maintain cost reporting schedules, prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts; track budgets and spending patterns.
• Monitor and control project costs by reviewing payment applications, evaluating change orders, and mitigating cost exposures.
• Utilize cost estimating and take-off software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
