Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is partnering with a leading engineering and infrastructure firm in Dubai to appoint a Compliance Manager responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance framework across all operations.

You will monitor UAE regulatory developments, lead risk assessments, design anti-bribery and AML/KYC training, and oversee internal audits plus investigations, ensuring timely remediation and board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years in a compliance role within a regulated environment (utilities, infrastructure, government services).
• In-depth knowledge of UAE regulatory bodies (e.g., CBUAE, Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure).
• Proficiency with compliance monitoring platforms and risk-management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the CMS in line with UAE regulations.
• Monitor changes in water-sector and utility regulations; update policies.
• Lead compliance risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Design and deliver training on AML/KYC and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee internal audits and investigations; prepare corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators, external auditors, and law enforcement.
• Advise leadership on emerging risks and remediation.
• Present quarterly dashboards and reports to Audit & Risk Committee.
• Establish KPIs to track compliance performance.
