Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in inspection, construction supervision, or quality assurance of mechanical works for water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), wastewater treatment, pumping stations, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment installation, including pumps, blowers, compressors, mixers, agitators, screens, gates, and sludge handling systems.
• Experience in inspection of process piping systems, valves, fittings, supports, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical works for the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and DM requirements.
• Inspect installation of pumps, blowers, compressors, mixers, agitators, and other mechanical equipment.
• Verify equipment installation, alignment, level, orientation, anchoring, and accessibility.
• Verify pipe size, material, rating, fittings, valves, supports, and installation against approved drawings.
• Witness hydrostatic, pressure, leakage, flushing, and cleaning tests for mechanical piping systems.
• Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and equipment data sheets.
