Job summary

AECOM in Dubai is seeking an Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to supervise, review, and deliver all instrumentation, control, automation, PLC, SCADA, and testing activities for the Sewage Treatment Plant project. You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and commissioning teams to meet Dubai Municipality requirements and international standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 10–15 years in instrumentation and SCADA, with at least 5 years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering related to instrumentation/controls.
10–15 years overall experience in instrumentation, control, automation and SCADA.
5+ years in STP/WWTP/Water treatment or similar utility infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise instrumentation, control, automation, and SCADA works for the STP project.
Review IFC drawings, control philosophies, instrument datasheets and shop drawings.
Review and approve instrument submittals and technical documents.
Supervise installation and calibration of field instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, pH, DO, turbidity, chlorine).
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and MEP disciplines.
