Job summary
AECOM MIDDLE EAST LIMITED DUBAI BRANCH is seeking an Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to lead supervision, testing, and commissioning of plant systems for a Sewage Treatment Plant project in Dubai. The role requires coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure alignment with design documents and international standards.
The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of experience in instrumentation, control, and SCADA, with strong knowledge of field instrumentation and testing protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instrumentation, electronics, electrical, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years in instrumentation, control, automation, and SCADA.
- 5+ years in STP/WWTP/Water infrastructure projects.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, RTU, MCC, VFD, analyzers, process instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of process instruments and related control systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise instrumentation, control, automation, and SCADA works for the STP project.
- Review and approve instrument data sheets, I/O lists, cable schedules, and P&IDs.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and MEP teams.
- Witness FAT/SAT, loop testing, and functional testing of instrumentation and automation.
