Job summary

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER is a UAE-based retail group representing established brands and F&B concepts. We are seeking a Supervisor to support the Store Manager in leading a team, delivering an exceptional store experience, and optimizing sales, staff performance and operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in a similar position, a business degree, strong English communication, team management, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proficient in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Set an example and encourage all employees to meet and exceed the company's goals and objectives on a consistent basis.
  • Meet and exceed the company's service standards and sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Acquire product knowledge information provided by the company to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Spend time on the selling floor working with customers to assist them with their product selections by providing through product knowledge information.
  • Consistently follow and abide by the company's established register and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Create additional sales opportunities by promoting and suggesting other appropriate items.
  • Support and participate with inventory management functions to include: The receiving procedures, transfers, pricing procedures, product counts and physical inventories as required.
  • Actively participate and support the company's safety and security standards at all times.
  • Assist in meeting the company's brand image and housekeeping standards.
  • Attend and participate in store meetings, company training sessions as required furthering the development of skills to meet the company's objectives.
  • Work on department and store displays.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
  • Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards.
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
  • Monitor local competitors.
  • Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures.
  • Maintain discipline in the store by consistently guiding and coaching the staff.
  • Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees.
  • Evaluate on-the-job performance.
  • Ensuring staff productivity on their respective shifts.
  • Ensuring every employee on the shift is impeccably groomed as per brand standards.
  • Be a part of the Daily Briefing Meetings of the store and ensure that the team is well in-time for the same.
  • Development of the team members by providing consistent trainings with regards to the products and service guidelines.

Job Summary

The Supervisor contributes to store success by assisting the Store Manager and Assistant store Manager with leading a team within an assigned store to achieve outstanding business results while creating and maintaining a unique shop experience for our customers and employees. You are required to assist providing dynamic and clear store leadership to successfully optimize the potential of sales, products, staff and operations and deliver the budgeted financial performance. Supervisor managed and organized a high degree of customer care, quality and cost control measures are achieved. Oversees the operation of the retail store/department and perform duties to ensure its smooth operation as required. Orients, trains, monitors, and provides direction to the team. The supervisor motivates and inspires the team to achieve store productivity goals. Analyze weekly/monthly sales report and develop actions plans.

Job Requirements
