Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper in contracting projects, preferably oil & gas construction.
• Familiar with standard store/warehousing processes: receiving, inspection, issuing, stock recording, preservation, and handling.
• Basic ability to read material specifications and technical datasheets.
• Strong purchasing and procurement awareness and activity knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials and tools against requests and delivery notes.
• Issue materials and tools to project sites based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records using bin cards and real-time systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Maintain tool calibration records and service histories; track returns.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies within the stores area.
• Prepare stock reports and material consumption analyses.
• Manage petty cash and reimbursements with proper documentation.

Essential Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper in contracting projects, preferably within oil & gas construction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equipment, machinery, tools, power tools, and technical instruments.
• Deep understanding of contracting materials (pipes, fittings, valves, fasteners, electrical/instrumentation items, and structural steel), consumable materials, PPEs, and general safety items.
• Strong awareness of purchasing and procurement activities.
• Familiarities with standard store/warehousing processes: receiving, inspection, issuing, stock recording, material preservation, and handling.
• Basic technical knowledge to accurately read material specifications and technical datasheets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced capabilities in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive reports on stock levels, material consumption.
• Prepare employee timesheets accurately and submit them on time for payroll processing.
• Manage petty cash funds: maintain transparent records, process site reimbursements, and ensure proper documentation aligns with company financial policies.
