Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead a high-performing team and support the Chief Engineer in daily maintenance operations. You will ensure safety across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems, while driving energy efficiency and coordinating with hotel leadership on safety protocols.

You will supervise contractors, mentor staff, and oversee response to guest concerns, emergencies, and service requests, ensuring top-tier hospitality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring a team of hospitality staff.
• Assist Chief Engineer with daily maintenance operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and drive performance.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on safety procedures.
• Oversee external contractors and inspect work for quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations and recognise achievements.
• Assist Chief Engineer with managing daily maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee safety and compliance of building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and life-safety systems.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives across the property.
• Coordinate with leadership on evacuation procedures and safety protocols.
• Supervise contractor work and verify quality and compliance.
