Job summary

Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead a dedicated team and support F&B operations with a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

You will oversee daily stewarding activities, ensure high hygiene standards, and coordinate with culinary and F&B teams to meet service requirements. This role emphasizes training, scheduling, and cost control in a busy hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Stewarding Supervisor role or similar leadership position within a hotel or large-scale Food & Beverage operation.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene sanitation food safety and HACCP standards.
• Experience managing stewarding operations in a busy hotel environment including restaurants banquet facilities and kitchen operations.
• Proven ability to lead train and motivate a multicultural team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the Stewarding department ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness sanitation and hygiene are maintained across all food and beverage outlets kitchens and back-of-house areas.
• Lead train coach and motivate the stewarding team ensuring efficient manpower utilization and continuous development of team members.
• Coordinate and monitor the cleaning of kitchen equipment utensils crockery cutlery glassware and operating equipment to support smooth Food & Beverage operations.
• Ensure all stewarding activities comply with company policies HACCP standards hygiene regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens storage areas and waste disposal areas to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Manage stewarding schedules and resource planning to support business demands including high-volume operations banquets and special events.
• Oversee the proper handling storage and inventory of operating equipment minimizing breakage and loss.
• Work closely with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure operational requirements are met and service standards are consistently delivered.
• Monitor chemical usage and cleaning procedures ensuring all team members are trained on the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ensure waste management and recycling practices are followed in line with company and environmental standards.
• Support the team during busy operational periods and lead by example to maintain a positive and productive working environment.
• Assist in controlling departmental costs while ensuring the availability of all necessary equipment and supplies.
