Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in the UAE seeks a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the Stewarding Team, uphold hygiene standards and drive efficiency in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will supervise operations, train staff, enforce food safety guidelines and collaborate with culinary teams to ensure impeccable kitchen support and inventory control.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supervisory Role in Stewarding or related roles in a Luxury Hotel is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
• Next-level Organisational and Supervisory skills, inspiring the FIVE Tribe.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees the Stewarding Team, ensuring seamless kitchen and related operations.
• Fosters a positive, collaborative work environment and motivates the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Conducts performance evaluations and identifies training needs for team members.
• Enforces hygiene and sanitation standards in line with local regulations.
• Collaborates with Culinary and Service Teams to provide spotless equipment, utensils and working areas.
• Engages with Executive Chef and F&B management to refine processes for efficiency and productivity.
• Maintains records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance and inventory control.
• Delivers comprehensive training and onboarding on safety protocols and sanitation practices.
• Pioneers sustainable practices to minimise waste and promote environmental responsibility.
• Manages inventory of premium kitchen supplies, chemicals and equipment.

Compensation

• A fixed monthly salary of AED 2,400 offered as part of this exciting career opportunity.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supervisory Role in Stewarding or related roles in a Luxury Hotel is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines, and a thorough understanding of Food Safety Standards.
• Next-Level Organisational and Supervisory skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to New Heights in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook is mandatory. knowledge of Oasys and Adaco systems are Advantageous.
• Familiarity with Forbes Service Standards in guest-facing roles is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Store Organisation, Inventory Execution and Stock Control.
• Exceptional skills in Improving Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction and Driving Profitability, showcasing a commitment to Industry-Leading Standards.
• A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a 'Can-Do!' Spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees the Stewarding Team, ensuring Seamless Kitchen and other Related Operations.
• Fosters a positive and collaborative Work Environment, Inspiring and Motivating Team Members to deliver exceptional and sensational results.
• Regularly conducts insightful Performance Evaluations, offering Constructive Feedback and Identifying Training Needs for individual team members.
• Enforces stringent adherence to Hygiene and Sanitation Standards, in line with local Health Regulations.
• Collaborates with the Culinary and Service Teams, facilitating the provision of Spotless Equipment, Utensils, and Working Areas.
• Engages with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Management Team in crafting and refining Processes that elevate efficiency and productivity.
• Maintains meticulous records of Cleaning Schedules, Equipment Maintenance, and curated Inventory Control.
• Conducts comprehensive Training and Onboarding Sessions for new Stewards, imparting knowledge on Safety Protocols, Proper Equipment Handling, and Sanitation Practices.
• Pioneers Sustainable Practices to Minimise Waste, championing an Environmentally Responsible Approach.
• Effectively manages the inventory of Premium Kitchen Supplies, Chemicals, and Equipment, ensuring availability and promoting an efficient work environment.
• Adds a 'FIVE-Star' touch to the Stewarding Department's Daily Operations.
• Stays updated on Industry-Leading Practices, implementing innovative and visionary approaches in Stewarding Operations.
• Contributes to exciting 'FIVER' Initiatives, showcasing FIVE's bold and disruptive Approach in the Luxury Hospitality Sector.
