Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences across award-winning properties. You will perform meticulous cleaning, linen changes and amenity replenishment to uphold the FIVE-Star ambience.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. Prior luxury hotel or pre-opening experience is advantageous, with flexibility to work varied shifts to meet the hotel’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning duties thoroughly in guest rooms, suites and public areas according to standards.
• Make beds, change linens and replenish amenities to ensure a five-star presentation.
• Maintain hygiene and safety guidelines; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and uphold Forbes/LQA standards.

Compensation

• A fixed monthly salary of AED 1,000 offered as part of this exciting career opportunity.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a Similar Role with previous Pre-Opening experience in a Luxury Hotel environment is Advantageous.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages are a Plus).
• Previous experience in Forbes or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA)-Rated properties will be Advantageous.
• Physical Fitness with the eEndurance and Resilience to handle demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time.
• Remarkable Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills to deliver a ‘FIVE-Star’ Experience for our Guests.
• Flexibility to work a Variety of Shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of the Hotel.
• A high level of Professionalism and Integrity, maintaining guest confidentiality and respecting Privacy at all times.
• A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’ Spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Executes Cleaning Duties thoroughly and with precision, following Established Procedures and Standards to uphold the ‘FIVE-Star’ ambiance of assigned Guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
• Creates a delightful and welcoming ‘Vibe at FIVE’ by Making Beds, Changing Linens, Vacuuming Carpets, Dusting Surfaces, and meticulously Cleaning Bathrooms to ensure a ‘FIVE-Styled’ presentation.
• Elevates the room experience by Replenishing Amenities, Toiletries, and Supplies, ensuring each room is Fully Stocked and ready for occupancy.
• Demonstrates a keen Eye for Detail, identifying Maintenance Issues, Damages, or Repairs within rooms and promptly Upholds FIVE’s Grooming and Dress Code Standards, presenting a professional appearance at all times.
• Responds Promptly and Courteously to Guests' requests for extra amenities or services, contributing to their overall satisfaction in alignment with Forbes Standards.
• Implements Lost and Found Procedures, reporting any items left behind by guests to the relevant department.
• Participates in Training Sessions and Meetings to stay abreast of new cleaning techniques, and industry-leading standards, in alignment with the hotel's Boundary-Breaking policies.
• Adheres rigorously to Health and Safety Guidelines, ensuring the well-being of guests, colleagues, and oneself.
